Details of the round hairbrush for blow-drying

Why use a round brush for blow-drying?

The round brush is an essential tool for achieving a precise and controlled blow-dry. Its cylindrical shape allows it to wrap around the hair strand, create tension, and guide the drying process, whereas a flat brush is mainly used for smoothing or conditioning. When used with a hairdryer, the round blow-dry brush allows you to:

  • smooth the lengths with precision
  • create volume from the root
  • to add movement and a natural shape to the hairstyle

Unlike traditional brushes, the round brush directly shapes the hair. It structures the hairstyle, tames unruly strands, and facilitates a clean, smooth blow-dry without a stiff look. It's the ideal hairbrush for achieving a polished, long-lasting result, perfect for everyday styling at home.

The benefits of boar bristles on hair

  • Make your hair shine: Thanks to a good distribution of sebum, your hair will be shinier and softer. Your hair will have a naturally healthier appearance.
  • Nourishing the scalp: A good sebum level will help protect and nourish the hair fiber. Hair will be less prone to breakage and split ends, and will be better hydrated.
  • Achieve a cleaner look: Your scalp will be mechanically cleansed of excess sebum. With a boar bristle brush, you can say goodbye to that "greasy hair" look between shampoos.
  • Reducing static electricity: A nylon brush can cause static electricity when brushing. You shouldn't encounter this problem with boar bristles.
  • Adding volume: This is the beauty secret for fine hair, which is given volume by the brush, without causing static electricity.

Thanks to this even distribution, hair regains a more supple, softer, and visibly healthier appearance. When used during blow-drying, boar bristles smooth and shape hair while respecting its natural balance.

Our customers' opinions

A round, anti-static brush for controlled blow-drying

Static electricity is one of the main problems encountered when blow-drying, especially on fine, dry, or damaged hair . Brushes made of synthetic materials often accentuate this phenomenon, causing frizz and unruly strands.

Thanks to its boar bristles, the Andrée Jardin round blow-dry brush naturally reduces static electricity. Hair is smoothed without being damaged, the cuticles remain closed, and the hairstyle maintains a cleaner, more even appearance. Result:

  • more manageable hair
  • a controlled volume
  • a longer-lasting blow-dry, even in dry weather or winter

This natural anti-static action makes the round brush a valuable ally for elegant and controlled daily styling.

A French-made blow-dry brush, designed to last.

The Andrée Jardin round blow-dry brush is made in France using traditional techniques , passed down and perfected through generations. Each brush is designed as a true styling tool, conceived to combine efficiency, comfort, and durability. The boar bristles are precisely arranged in a dense and even pattern.

  • 12 rows of hairs
  • 18 tufts per row
  • a brush length of 10 cm

This high density ensures excellent grip on the hair strand, essential for creating the necessary tension during blow-drying. The handcrafted bristle arrangement guarantees even distribution for smooth, effortless strokes and precise styling. The handle is made of beech wood, a robust and stable wood chosen for its resistance to repeated use. Inspired by our grandmothers' brushes, this brush brings back the art of craftsmanship to everyday hairstyling.

Comment réussir un brushing par Andrée Jardin
