Eco-friendly ingredients for cleaning your oven!
To clean your oven we recommend using the following ingredients
Clean your oven in 3 steps
Step 1: Clean the oven trays
To clean your oven effectively, it is important to be methodical. Let's start with the plates of your oven. They often accumulate a lot of grease and food residue.
Start by preparing your mixture.
- 4 tablespoons of sodium percarbonate
- 10 cl of white vinegar
- A little hot water
Place your plates in the sink and apply your mixture. Use a stainless steel ball sponge to dynamically scrub the plates. This method effectively degreases and makes your plates look like new.
Step 2: Clean the inside of the oven
To degrease the inside of your oven, start by heating it slightly. Apply black soap to the areas to be degreased. Sprinkle baking soda on stubborn stains. Leave for half a day. Then, scrub your oven and its walls with a sponge. This method is very effective for dissolving grease and leaving your oven perfectly clean.
Step 3: Clean the oven window
Last step: clean the oven window. You've almost reached the end of your cleaning!
If you have some leftover paste used to degrease the oven and the plates, you can use it on the glass. Otherwise, black soap will also do the job very well. Apply a small amount of black soap to the glass and rub with a sponge. Then rinse for an impeccable shine.
Two alternatives to degrease your oven
• Lemon: Lemon is a natural and effective alternative to cleaning your oven. Its acidity helps break down grease and disinfect surfaces. To use it, squeeze a lemon to extract the juice. Apply the lemon juice to a sponge and rub the surfaces to be cleaned. Then rinse. Lemon leaves a fresh and natural smell while being a powerful degreaser.
• Pyrolysis: If your oven is equipped with the pyrolysis function, this cleaning method is particularly practical. Pyrolysis heats the oven up to 500 degrees, reducing food residue to ash. To use it, simply activate the pyrolysis mode and let the cycle complete. Once cool, wipe the ash with a cloth or paper towel. It is an easy and effective way to keep your oven clean without manual effort.
