Bread Knife - Opinel

Founded in 1890 in Savoie, Opinel is a household name in French cutlery.

Crusty baguette, large country loaf, rye bread or Sunday brioche: this bread knife slices them all, from the thickest crust to the softest crumb. Its 20.5 cm serrated stainless steel blade cuts into the crust effortlessly, then glides through the crumb without crushing or crumbling it. You get clean, even slices, thin for toast or thick to serve with a meal.

Its slightly curved blade follows the sawing motion and makes it easy to cut right down to the board.
